where i park everyday we have to parallel park. i know it wasnt me because i would of felt it, but somebody has scratched the corner of my bumper :( is there a way to cover this up or get rid of it?

i have a few scratches on my bumper :( think they were already there when i brougt the car, i see you are from Southampton? Where do you work, i work at Paultons park andsince ive worked there i have shit loads of door dents from people smashing there doors on mine because we have to park with all the public!

im from hedge end, i park in eastleigh where i go to college haha :) i like my car, but im not one of them people who hangs out at mcdonalds all night though.

Ahh fair play :) I used to go down there to all the car meets but now im 18 im clubbing all the time and never go down there anymore.

Depends how deep the scratches are...if you can feel them with your finger nail it's probably respray/new bumper/touch up time

you can touch them up, just build up the coats with a touch up (get a decent match from a1autowise) will probablies take about 5 - 10 depending on the depth
best to quickly sand the the scratch to clean it out and for the paint to stick to
i find a toothpick can be decent to build up the coats
build it up so its past the clearcoat then wet sand back
then if you have one use a machine polisher, just used a polishing pad to removed the sanding marks and blend it in
But you will be best with a new bumper from a breakers thats the same colour or a respray, by the time you cover the cost of fixing the scratches then your probablies be better off to just get a new bumper
