I havent been able to find out much on the internet about it exepct for checking the connecters under the seats and cleaning the connections? Ive checked the connectors breifly but how would i clean them? Should i disconnect the baterey and then unplug the connectors clean them and the plug the connecters back together? Any help on this would be much appreciated :y:

Disconnct the battery, then under the seats, disconnect the connectors, then plug them back in, and connect the battery, worked on the saxo :)

Here are some points to determine a faulty s-belt. Normally it would really wear out in time. Sometimes if there are squealing sounds it may be because of the frayed or cracked s-belt. Other sounds like chirping sound is because of the misaligned drive pulley. If it is proved to be faulty then it is needed to be replaced. Try searching online for serpentine belt (http://www.drivewire.com/part/drive-belts/serpentine-belt/) replacement.

If you try all of the above & they don`t work then get the airbag ecu reset at a garage.
