Id clarify the mileage as says 36,000 at top and then 34,500 at the bottom. Its possibly only been used for short journeys so check for smoke as head gasket could be going.
I wouldnt pay that much for it myself though.

looks nice and tidy but "selling for his grandad" and only 4 feedback score, id be wary if you go for it.

Looks pretty legit if you ask me, and worth it at 2k too. Best thing to do with any ebay car though is to view it before you bid.

not worth 2k at all. I got my low miles vts for 2300 with fCSH year tax and MOT. I would pay 1600 tops

engine will be rough with that sort of mileage

If this VTR has been serviced every year, regardless of the mileage it has covered, then it will be running sweetly. But, if it has only been serviced every 10k miles or so, then it's best staying clear. Driving a car with such low mileage and with very few services isn't a good mix at all. I would need to see several stamps in the book before I was happy.

Exactly what I was thinking, can only have been used for short journeys. Either that or sat around for a while :S

Read my post you idiot. Learn something for once. Why the hell are you having a go at him for expressing a view?

You strike me as a very immature little boy.

Still doesn't give you a right to have a go at someone who is trying to help. Go and spend time with your family rather than having random fits at people. You won't help yourself doing stuff like that on here.

I don't know your reason for wanting that car, maybe because it's standard and it's a good base to mod yourself. But check out this link, looks alot better and costs alot less. More mileage but at least you know where it came from.

Tom_Crx
26th June 2010, 13:12
Well for that budget, i'd be looking at a mint vts / gti and with the money left over put it towards insurance because you will need it

See i think there jjust to powerful for an 18 year old , i want to get used to the vtr 80 90 bhp tyhen go onto a gti or vts

Tom_Crx

I just think it will be a waste of money, plus by the time you get round to getting a vts / gti, they will be more rare and more money. If you drive the vts properly then it won't matter about the power.
Plus vtrs are 90 bhp and 98 bhp
