I had one that lasted almost a week once. I did get very drunk for about 3 days though.
Normally only last a day with me. But I have now found a way to stop mine, well its worked past few times.

How do you stop it?

Mine is now just starting to kick in. Feel awful. Meant to be fixing my car today but theres no chance.
Had to be physically carried home last night. Good job I have good mates or I would have ended up in a ditch!

When I get them (which isn't often) they usualy last just the morning, but sometimes the whole day. Usually when I get in I drink a shit load of water and it seems to stop me getting a hangover at all, and a good full english in the morning is always good :y:

I've only ever had one hangover that lasted longer than a morning, and that was a terrible one that lasted about 36 hours. I had drunk an absolute shit load of wine though.

Every time I've had a 'proper' hangover I always get 2 bottles of lucozade iso active or any isotonic drink..drink one quickly and keep one for drinking slowly. Isotonic drinks include salt water and sugar as well as carbs and various other beneficial things. Basically everything alcohol takes out of you! Try to eat too.. can be hard but is worth it!

Only get hangovers after serious mixing.

Just stick to the cider and im normally fine :y:

But as said, eating is the key!

Marmite on toast anyone?

Giraffe

I drink orange lucozade (the fizzy stuff) before bed, as well as some water, and it normally sees me right, in fact, I've been waking up still drunk if I do that, which is weird.

If I am hung over though, more often than not the headache doesn't go til about 6pm, then I feel like shit til I go to bed...

Eat before you go out, helps you drink more and pike less.

When I get in I take a paracetamol and about 2-3 pints of water. Normally does the trick.
Then proper breakfast in the morning.

I don't get one, but the people who do deem it necessary to let the whole world know every time they have one.. must be an ego gain :homme:

This, with plenty of fresh orange when i wake up.

Im knocking on at nearly 30 so i'm stoved in for most of the week after a heavy session on a saturday night. :n:

I don't remember having a hangover until my mid 20's.

I've heard drinking lots of water or trying to sober up before going to bed helps. Never tried it though.

After Malia, about a week hangover mixed in with Swine Flu. Nothing can sort a hangover properly, just time :)

The actual way you stop it is drinking water before you go to sleep, a lot of water.

...Carefull not to over-do it and piss yourself though. But Risk V.s Reward innit.

My hangovers can last up to 4 days! But thats cos id go out Friday night and stop drinking on Sunday night, so without food or sleep for a few days it fucks me up

I've done it for years now but this year i've not been out as much, only every other weekend at most

I burnt the candle at both ends from when i was younger and now im burnt out, i cant handle it anymore.. Not takin as much gear, not drinkin as much, not smoking quite as much

Boring cunt now but i've lived my life beyond the extreme until now, so i couldnt care less, im retiring

if i have a terrible hangover, which drinking water cant even cure, i go to the fridge and have just the one can of what i was drinking the night before, which is normally bow, and that does the trick

E3D
26th June 2010, 16:05
drink water before bed then in the morning energy drinks, and a big breakfast. normally means I just feel shit for about an hour then im good. Unless I dont get enough sleep hangovers are always worse then.

I just feel tired the morning after, no headache's really.

I eat a yoghurt before bed. Dunno why, seems to ease the pain.
