Probably!

We made ours very well so they wouldn't!!

Part of the trick is to spray WD40 down the barrell so the potatoe slides
smootly, otherwise it could get stuck and blow the whole thing up!!!

If you use it on a public field then dont hang around too long, or fire
loads and loads of spuds. Also don't fire them at people or buildings,
they cause damage!
