simple answer don't run them. but if you are then amp them up as long as they are good quality 6x9's that can cope with the power ratings from the amp.

best way to run them m8 is down to the dump, if you were gonna keep em tho, id amp them, unless you wanna cut the back speaker out and lengthen that wire for a shit quality

FFS he is asking how to run them, not what to do with them, stop spamming the fucking thread, most of you are I.C.E Noobs anyway, just because you've read a few posts on here about how good components are you think you know the world about speakers and systems.

Amp them mate, you will get more sound quality from any speaker if it's amped, wouldn't use them with a sub thought, as all the air gets pushed onto the cone of the 6x9, although they don't sound as bad as everyone makes out.

For the best way to drive any speaker is with an amp, although if you're not bothered about sheer volume and the speakers are fairly high sensitivity (90db or more) then you can safely run them from your HU amp

Also, just wondering, is threads like this the reason a lot of newbies don't last???

I guess it is assumed that if you are a noob to saxp you no nothing

Agree with freedman about sub, ppl say it shit with sub and 6x9s but i dnt think it is as bad as what is made out.

I ran sum 6x9s from the missus HU, dont sound as good as when amped imo

Fair point:y: but was aimed at dude above.

To prevent this being a spammy comment, and to add to the discussion, what i.c.e setup do you have?:y:
