in your 1.1 bumper they have the blanking plates stuck into the bumper so just smooth using filler

i there anywhere i can buy a bumper like that, with the number plate bit like that? or will i have to do it all myself?

Dano
26th June 2011, 17:30
Its a DIY jobby, thats the standard bumper, cut the slats out, fiberglass and filler smooth, sand, primer, and paint

you cant really just filler it, coz filler cracks easy and looks shite.

its a tricky jobs and takes some minor skills and time.

this is mine so far, took me 6 hours to get it all fibrglassed and filled, worthwhile though
