Good first half from the Portuguese, testing the Spanish and making Capdevila look average.

Second half was owned by Villa, Iniesta, Xavi and Sergio Ramos, and even though Portugal were very deep and defensive, they couldnt deal with Villa and the 2 play-makers, Ronaldo hardly had a touch and Portugal were just too "backwards", apart from Fabio Coentrao & Ronaldo, they aint got much quality in the team. Better team won, though that red card was awful to watch.

Tbf to him, he was standing up there by himself with no support at all. It seemed like Portugal were holding on for penalties...but why would you do that in the knockout stages of the world cup???

Ronaldo is just one of the world class players at this world cup who wasnt world class.
