Okay, call me a nerd, but I was wondering if there are any fellow web developers and web designers on saxp. If you are add to the thread:

1. What you are (ie: web dev, web designer, seo, usability, db admin, server admin ,etc)
2. years experience
3. your personal website/blog (if you have one)

So this is me:

I did software at college, nothing too indepth.. Mostly VB6, bit of flash, bit of webdesign and mysql.

Quit college after first year as i was more into cars, music and pussy. The rest of the class were into... well.. the opposite.

Was a "computer engineer" for abit, basically just building computers, replacing bits and bobs, upgrading stuff, putting nice fancy neons in etc.

I work for motors.co.uk as a web designer, I am responsible for all the car dealership sites (we have about 6,000 sites :fcuk:), doing amendments, redesigns and new builds (there is me and one other guy based in our UK office and then we have some people in tashkent that help out). have only been doing it for 3 months or so now but its going well. I also get dragged into doing design stuff for the motors.co.uk site too like the iphone app, buttons, adverts etc

come from a bit of a random background, did a degree in photography and digital imaging and did some very basic webdesign stuff on that. But i self learnt a lot of stuff mainly for self promotion of my photography stuff but it lead to a fair amount of freelance web based work - and i offer some skills others may not like advanced photo-retouching and composite work and animation / video editing

(html, css, php, js, bit of Jquery, CMS, flash, photoshop, adobe after effects, adobe fireworks, illustrator)

I'm a Graphic and Marketing Designer (lol) for an international oil and gas research company. Done work for all the big oil companies. Marketing print design, exhibition panels etc.

Don't dabble in any form of code really... just make the 'skins'.

Have also done application icon and interface work for BlackBerry RIM in Australia.

I have around 3 years exp but from the server side of things. Currently working looking after VPS's and our shared platform. I do dabble in code (HTML, PHP and ASP) But nothing major! I am more of a system admin kind of person :y:
