What am i meant to use?
Sponges are bad.
Lambs wool washmitts are good.
You'll damage your paintwork with a sponge.
You'll clean your paintwork with a washmitt.

This any gd? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CAR-WASH-MITT-SIMULATED-LAMBS-WOOL-GREAT-GIFT-IDEA-/400133449635?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5d29cfe7a3#ht_1064wt_911
Can't really say as i've never used it. But it looks like it would be better than a sponge.
If you think about it, a sponge has a flat edge. When you wipe it over dirt it drags the dirt accross the paintwork inbetween the sponge and the paintwork.
With a lambswool washmitt the grit gets stuck in the middle of the washmitt away from the paintwork. So its not dragged accross the paintwork.

I have a wash mitt, but i dont think it is lamb wool, what one have you used?
I bought one off ebay abit ago, cost me like £9.00 or something.
A microfibre washmitt would also be better than a sponge.
