Got bored today so decided to T-cut my rear badges. I used a cheap knock off version of T-cut (GS27 Scratch Remover), that I got from WIlkinsons for a couple of quid:

This is how the car looked before I did the badges:

At a few points I did use some wet and dry paper but found that this was far quicker but left a matt look about them as well as a few noticable scratches.

Worth the small amount of effort to do but beware your fingers will definately sting for a while afterwards lol :n:

look nice mate im guna do mine tomorrow (holiday of work wooopp (H) ) haha,
im guna use plastic areosol and laqure though haha :P

p.s I know what you mean about your fingers after cos it does hurt lol

if i was you, id stay away from the whole lexus/silver/cheapish look

just tint your standard ones and theyll look ok with the black badges ive done mine just need to find a camera so I can photo the car

i dont think black badges suit a silver car imo stick out too much. much better standard silver colour i think

Does the t-cut effect the cars paint ? is it best to take the badges off ?

Na, it's just scratch remover so if anything will clean up the surrounding area. The whole advantage of using t-cut (or equivalent) is so that you don't have to take the badges off and snap the pins in the process. Took me around 20-30mins. :y:
