made the 2 pods first of all...

these fit into each of the corners perfectly like so....

then the sub ring was secured, wraped in spare bed sheet and resin and hardened over first to get a solid structure......

8 layers of fibreglass was then layed over 3 - 5 hours!! damn i smelt after! lol

then sub hole was cut and sides all trimmed up..... i have loads more pics but cant be bothered to load them all up and you should get the idea.... lol if you want to see more then pm me!

then a final pic of how it stands...... you can now see the other side which the amp will sit in......this will look like the one on the left but with an amp in it obviously......

owwww and finally lol this is were my sub sits at the minute......... hahaha

i call it my personal show cage smileys/smiley17.gif haha im easily recognisable lol "the twat with the seat belts as a show cage"! haha

comments welcome people. if there is any one with experience in fibreglass, would it be possible to give me extra advice if im doing anything wrong?? smileys/smiley4.gif

that i have to say is possibly the most quality thing ever (making your own fibreglass boot build).

cant wait to see this full done... you spraying it yeah?

any chance you could say how you do this?

yer i am spraying it. gonna do blue to white fade smileys/happy.gif needs a hell of a lot of sanding and smoothing down tho!! lol when its all done i'll think i'll make a how-to-guide! if your nice i may make you one aswell smileys/smiley17.gif

you are the greatest person ever. lol.

well good luck with that. i love it when people do unique-ish things like that... cant wait to see the finished result.

might be a bit of an issue with the vibs from the sub tho... you might need a support or two inside will you? i dont really know what im talking about when it comes to In Car Audio

yer thats decided ill do a how to guide lol! as im so kind... smileys/smiley17.gif haha if you see inside the sub mould there is 4 or 5 supporting legs but yer i will put in more support to be extra safe!! best thing still.... its light as fook!! lol

looks good, I wanted to do my own one aswell but I hate working with fibre glass, nasty stuff lol.

yer is nasty stuff lol but the thing is..... if you stick at it, the results will....

1 - be original
2 - will impress
3 - make you feel good!
