The weather was nice so it seemed stupid not to wash the car (it had been a while smileys/smiley9.gif ) and take some new photo's

My attempt at an arty shot. As you can see I'm no David Bailey

I used Autoglym bumper care to restore the bumpers black again. They had faded grey. It's amazing the difference it has made to the car. I'd recommend it. It's a gel so easier to use than back to black smileys/smiley20.gif
All I need now is to get the VTS wheels I want and she's all finished smileys/smiley4.gif

Nice natalie, one thing though the back look high for 60mm, more like 40mm.

nice and clean, but the back hardly looks lowered, definitely not 60mm.

The back is one notch which is about 45mm and the front has dropped to what we think is about 70mm smileys/smiley5.gif
My drive at my uni house is on a very steep hill so it's put pressure on the front and make it drop lower. My boyfriend keeps telling me to reverse on but I'm not very good at reversing normally never mind up a hill smileys/smiley9.gif
I'm thinking of getting the front raised. Although having this set up makes it handle like a dream. Saxo's are supposed to be lower at the front than the back smileys/smiley20.gif

Looks 60 40 to me.
I wouldnt say a "notch" was 45mm either.
Looks tidy otherwise smileys/smiley16.gif Lights are spot on

looks alright in the latest pics on this thread but on your first ones as every one is saying back looks higher than it should be, yes the back is supposed to be higher than front if you want the handling to stay as good as it can be!!
looks good though nice and subtle vts rims will look well on it smileys/smiley2.gif

With reguards to the comments on the height....the rear is lowered with one complete spline of the torsion bars at each end. I know its the bodged way of doing it but it lowers the car approx 45mm on the first click. It was all too rusted and seized to actually withdraw the bars and adjust the height of the trailing arms.
The front was intially about 15mm lower than the back....which is the std difference and the optimum height for decent handling (as long as the road is smooth as the back isn't dragging its arse). But since the springs have gone on, they've "settled" far more than we expected and will probably have to come off again as now it looks like the car is doing an emergency stop all the time.
I'd say go 45/50mm springs on the front and start thinking about new gas dampers, as these ones are starting to bounce smileys/smiley2.gif

Yeah it definately needs bringing up a bit at the front
This is my car on the drive of the house I'm moving into in July.

I'm sensing I might have a few clearance problems if I'm not careful smileys/smiley5.gif
Although I won some VTS alloys yesterday on Ebay so the bigger wheels might help raise the car a little smileys/smiley4.gif

Natalie

Yeah I've wanted them for ages. Got the money for my in March 21st and finally won them yesterday
They are Xsara VTR alloys which are the same as Saxo VTS ones

They have bigger profile tyres. They are 195/55/R15 compared to the saxo 195/45/R15 so I might have to change them. Not sure until I test them on the car
Here they are:
