Hi Guys

I received my new odometer today (Bought it off E-bay £10.00) it was advertised as a VTS 1 however on further inspection the dial lay-out is different. The fuel gage is on the bottom left hand side were the oil temp gage was and the is no oil gage at all, the engine temp gage is in the same place and I am also left with a blanked out bit at the top middle (where the fuel gage used to be). However I filled the car up and the fuel gage works as do all the other lights and dials e.t.c. I just wanted to know if it really makes a difference not having the oil temp gage or is it needed. Furthermore does anyone know where I could get my old odometer lights changed to blue / 2 x new air bag lights soldered back on ?

Cheers for your help in advanced ;)

The guage itself shouldn`t make a difference but i`m curious as to what you mean by 2 airbag lights as on all saxo`s theres only 1 light.

Steve.

The light is situated on the bottom left of the odometer / first light, it is the passenger air bag warning light. Basically the previous owner has taken off this light and the main air bag light from my last odometer so I didn't know if the air bag system actually worked ! My new odometers main air bag light goes off now except this passenger warning light. If I activate the passenger air bag via the key switch both lights come on, however if I turn the passenger air bag off via the switch the main air bag light goes off but the passenger air bag light stays on. It looks like I have a fault n the passenger air bag ? :wall:

go under the seats there should be 2 wires with what look like paper clips in take both out and put back in then turn ignition on they should both go out it's a common fault mine do it all the time.

Cheers for that, I have disconnected all of the wires e.t.c under the seat and re-connected and the light has gone out :y:
