shaking

hi peepz recently bought a vtr when idle-ing the engine shakes when inside the car u can feel it, any ideas wot causes this, is it possibly down to the front part of the exhaust as it is slightly deteriorated n temperory repaird with putty ? Does any 1 knw how mch these cost also front chassis rail slightley cororded is this expensive problem hope ya can help

mine was doing this, car was rattling to bits, turned out it had a knackered engine mount, pop the bonnet and feel for any play :)

Chassis rail corroded is quite a big job id imagine.

no probz, you say the front part, do you mean the manifold, or is it under the car?

is it a blacktop or silvertop mate?

lol i av no idea to new to the saxo world all i knw is 1.6 8v and is 1998 s-plate if that helps
