Help with lights

Basically im new to cars, was just wondering how you get them BRIGHT white lights on your front lights and also sometime they have a blue light aswell as the whitelight, how is this done.. is it a certain type of light or is it just changing the bulbs?

bulbs mate, type in on ebay:
h4 ice blue xenon bulbs. these will be road legal. and they are your main beam
sidelights you can pick up cheap. they are 501 bulbs little small ones.
they fit all over the place on the car, interior light, side repators, number plate light, brake light and in the boot :D

Can i change my fogs to them aswell ?
