I'm looking at this but is it really worth the money? My rocker cover is rusted to shit and I just want something to improve the appearance a bit and actually last.

I thought it would go well as I have a silver car. Is it worth buying this or trying to make one of my own?
just scrub up your own and paint it!!!! much better and cheaper!!

If you can have it off for a few days CTR have a guy that does a personal paint job for £65 roughly work looks neat, or like the others say paint it

do you need to use that high temp paint,or would normal spray do the job
and would you use lacquer or not?

You can get yours chromed for much cheaper than that, or even use chrome spray paint.

ive done all my rocker covers in normal paint, has never once flaked off. the covers are not under extreme heat so no need for hi-temp paint.
