UKRecord Shop - T-Shirt Sizes

Looking to get a few grime T-Shirts from this store. Generally, i'm a 'Large' in everything. I believe the large is 55CM (Assuming its length from under arm?)

Would anyone know how these would size up compared to other garments i have bought from Next/ Republic etc

I have worked out that 55Cm is the WIDTH of your chest, not the whole way round.

Ie.

55cm x 2 = 110CM

110cm to Inches = 43"

I'm a 37" (Exact fit) So i'd need a extra 3"'s to allow shrinkage in the wash etc so 40" is what i need?
