loose wheel nuts?!?1

drove my car about 70 miles yesterday completly fine. then me and a few mates went out to grab a costa and so i parked my car up for about an hour. jumped back in the car all seemed fine got out of the car park and reached 50 and i real bad vibration came from the back. turned out my rear left wheel was loose!!! now iv had some problems recently with my tyres being slashed. but now this! i know 100 percent they were tight i had them off about a month ago for new tyres and i chack all round to check they were tight. but can wheel nuts just come loose? they were all finger tight and on the very edge of coming out! is this common or has someone loosened them off and wants me dead??

sounds like you been targeted there mate, might be a wise investment for some locking wheel bolts

4 locking wheel nuts in each wheel is the way forward :) all different keys and you won't get a cunt letting them loose again :)

If they haven't been tightened correctly then they can work loose. But it'll be gradual. Sounds like someone wants you dead.

Mate of mine drove all the way to the Ring then did a lap only to come in and check them (felt a wobble) to find a load of his wheel nuts had worked loose on his m3 :wacko:

yeah i have been checking them eveytime i go out. havent pissed anyone off lately either, well apart from my exs new bf, he kept ringing me up wanting to fight me so i said ok went to meet him and he didnt show so i went to his house and he wouldnt come out. but only other people i can think of is soem irish tinklers have moved in round the corner and have set up camp in some woods,..... must be 100 of them. but they wouldnt just target me would they? i did have locking wheel nuts on my car and both sets i left the key on the lockign nuts and drove off and havent had chance to get new ones.
