it could have been that there was more than 10 cars put up and the person that does that thread at that time picks the best 10 cars for the poll ;)

so your best bet would be to ask Furio-92 as he was running the last 1 mate :)

Thats what i tried in the last 2 competitions and both didnt get much joy so this time im keeping it old skool. Chrome rims, bodykit and a fancy paint job :P

Once posted you can't then edit and add more bits! It's stated in the 1st post.
The reason for this is there is limited numbers for entrys. So people do little work then post there entry so they are garunteed an entry place and then finish it later. This isn't fair to the people that spend the whole week and then can't post because there's no more space. NO EDITING!!.... Thanks lol

Well actually, it's not stated in the first post at all (you're either referring to another thread or seeing things!) But hey I don't mind, I'm happy enough with my entry as it is.

Can't we have a rule that the background etc should stay the same? It's misleading, makes it look better than it really is imo! Should be all about modifying the car, not glossing it all up in aim to try and cover up shoddy chopping etc!

yes its no editing !! when you upload thats it in :) no taking back, but anyway if there is more than 10 taking part the 1 that started the tread picks the top ten for the poll :)

and about the background it says at the start do what you like it just has a theme so if you want to change the background if you think it looks better then its upto you unless it says its not to be changed by the 1 that starts that thread ;)

As i started the first competition i think i need to lay down some ground rules.

who ever won the last competition, hosts the new one and makes the rules providing the chop.
As the Poll only has 10 options, i think first come first served is the best policy.
even if the poll is full but you want to put your chop forward, the host can still put it in thread it just wont be counted for the competion, but can still be commented on.
Once you have posted your chop, there is no further editing as this is unfair on others.

if there are any other rules i should state in here let me know guys. and try and right all these rules down clearly at the start of each competition.

I have sent a message to Simo about the Small number of poll options but sadly had no reply, maybe if you guys also send him a message he may get the right idea or atleast help us find a way around this.

I agree with all of the rules above bar the one about the first come first serve, some people dont get a chance until the weekend because of their work etc. I think the host of the round, should choose his top 10 chops and put them into the poll, and then post the rest of the efforts up; just my opinion though

But then that will take even longer, we try to keep a routine, ends sunday, poll starts then, then poll ends monday.

How am I having a go? That's the only thing I've said haha. If you can't take criticism you won't get very far in life! If you asked someone what car yours originally was, I'm sure most people wouldn't have a clue, surely that defeats the point? It's an opinion mate, it's not against the rules so I'm not stopping you or saying you shouldn't be entered, but it just defeats the object imo. Never said it was bad in terms of quality of a chop as it's not.
