I believe you can use a resistor.

My mate just unplugged his airbag ecu and this does the trick but apparently this can effect your seatbelt pretensioners not a problem for him as he had harnesses.

It is under the carpet infront of the centre console.

If you remove the gear gaiter and knob then the surrounding console you will see/feel a lump in the carpet.

This is the airbag ecu, we just slit a hole in the carpet as it can't be seen with the centre console back in.

Once you have the slit you will see the ecu with two connectors infront of it a brown one and an orange one.

Just unplug the brown connector and replace the centre console, gear gaiter and gear knob.

Disconnect the battery 10 mins prior and leave disconnected for whole pocess just to be on the safe side.

No problem mate.

Its alot easier than it sounds above.

I would disconnect your battery 10 mins prior and leave disconnected while you do it just to be on the safe side also.

sticky tape over the light or take the bulb out is another option

Saxo clocks don't have bulbs ;)

You can.

Install a resistor in place of the airbag in order to "trick" the ecu into thinking you still have an airbag.

or

Unplug the ecu as above,

or

Cover/remove the airbag bulb from the clock display.
