he smashed the side windscreen with his head wen it rolled and then wen it come to a stop he was sprawled over the bonnet, managed to pick himself up and get out the car before being taken to hospital....
The car lifted off the floor, hit a lampost, rolled hit the railings on the other side of the road then come to a stop in the middle of the road. VERY lucky in my opinion to be alive.

i knew he was gonna crash, the words out my mouth seconds before he crashed was "hes gonna kill himself" then after the crash i just thought they were both dead.... i proper panicked!
I dont race no more.... its not worth the risk.
Funniest moment was wen he told the police he was doing 30 mph and they looked at the 100 meter trail of destruction and burst out laughing

i dont have any pics of when i crashed mine:( but it was the seatbelt that did nore damage than anything to me, i would have gone through the windscreen maybe if i ahdnt though and if the bonnet didnt already come up and through it.1 lesson learnt, too many freinds lost with cars!

Jesus Christ, how much more up saxperience’s general arse do you wanna get?
I too am looking forward to the battering from the batty brigade of "looser for racing", yup, he is, but it gets old reading that shit over and over.
Moral/lesson is good - Delivery is poor/arse kissing.

I've lost friends because they didn't wear a seatbelt, so less of it lad.
The clown in the 106 should be dead and his mate too. I've only been driving 9 months and not once have I done 70 at a roundabout or whatever. It's called common sense.

Mate, I wasn't wishing for them to be dead. I was saying that they are lucky to be alive.
Crashing a car with probably one of the worst NCAP ratings at 70mph onto it's roof - Very lucky.
Fair enough, since I've passed I've had a bit of fun, lost the back end round corners slightly, etc.. but 70 across a roundabout?
There's a line.. He crossed it.

agree exactly look at the mess of that car... would you want to do 70 onto a roundabout? could potentialy make people think before they race there mates round roundabouts and stuff might not but it could so thats what matters really

i can admit i was a cock end when i first passed my test crashed it 2 months later and regreted it so much. driving like a pure twat basicly i have now grown up and have more sence than that. although i didnt think i would be a stupid driver but i think getting a vtr lowered exahust kind of made it all more fun so you do it more.
3 years on i like to respect my car make it last and spend as much time cleaning it as driving it now lol id feel and look a twat if i was ragging it about and thats what you have to understand you only look a prick to most people on the road not cool

I'm not on Manu's side as it seems he is trying to provoke you. But still, you can't blame your driving on other things...
When you get behind that wheel, it's your responsibility and that is what you should've learnt first time around.

Still though babes, no need to cause an arguement on here.
People do make mistakes and learn from them.
It's just the fact that the subject about just passing your test at 17/18 and driving like a knob has been covered so many times, yet the majority of 17/18 year olds who have just passed, still don't listen.
For example, my mate bought a mint (and I mean mint) 03 plate VTR for £3,000 - 2 months later it was wrapped round a tree.

Okay, the OP and the guy in the 106 have learned their lesson. An accident can be an accident, it isn't always caused by careless driving.
I have never wanted to race around since passing my test, don't understand why people do. Not worth the risk IMO. Would love to go on private land and see what my 1.1 can do, but not on the road.
At the end of the day we all make mistakes, no need to get all arsey on here about other peoples mistakes. The OP and 106 guy have clearly learned from them.
Everyone has their burst of cockness on the roads so I don't see what the problem is?
I've done 70 around many roundabouts in MK, not a problem.
Its just about learning the limits of the car and your driving ability. Fair enough im not the greatest driver but I can handle a Saxo piss easy. *Touch Wood*.

Can work both ways tbf. Although wearing one is obviously usually the safest option.

cheers for people whove stuck up for me.... and manu.... if you read my previous posts you would also realise i owned all the focus and the MG in the same year (my first year of driving). Yea i shouldnt have got those cars to start with being inexperianced. But i didnt crash the MG i lost control and i managed to save it. the focus was an accident coz of lack of concentration. i was 17. Get over it man. Im 21 now and i have 3 years without an accident. END of.

3) When your with mates you try and show off.
Well thats what most young drivers think i rekon.

if i am honest i don't wear a seat belt simple reason my cousin crashed his car through a fence into a lake he got out because he wasn't wearing a seat belt his girlfriend couldn't undo hers so drowned to death. I don't like the thought of this happening to me my choice tho seat belts CAN save lives im not disputing that.

BUT...
How often are you going to drive into a lake compared to getting smashed into on the roads?
Think about it.

that's a fair point but just don't like the idea of being trapped if i am upside down or whatever. It's only me who doesn't wear one if i take someone in my car they have to i know that sound's weird being as it was the passenger who died but that's just me im not disputing they save lives tho
