Hi. If i buy some bucket seats can i use the frames from my old seats to bolt on or do i need to buy sub frames. Cheers

Thought so. Do you reccomend any sites to buy frames. Ebay have them for 90 each side.

ebay or here is only place u might have a slight chance of getting a set cheap. subframes are the expensive part that u can;t do without unless u side mount the seats or get some custom jobbies made up

I'd just look around for the cheapest. If your seats are side mounted then you will need side mounts as well. What seats are they?

nah u bolt straight to floor no need for subframes sen loads do this and keeps seats lower too

I have a mk2 now so dont think they are side mounted. Il take a peek on fleabay

You are joking right? The seat will just rip through the floor in a crash. and the fact that the floor isn't flat what with all the strengthening ribs everywhere

Think il just buy the frames too. Seems safer just in case
