because it was 8 years ago, although not quite as bad as 1966 though.

lets be honest most of our generation should be beyond the whole 'german nazis' crap aswell, which is the only reason half of the sun readers dont like them.

haha i was only sharing it cause it showed just how well we can play when we work together! Even heskey scored in that game!!

And you wouldn't be beyond WW2 if you live in my house haha my dad is always watchin the history channel and recording the battle of britain and similar films so its kinda drilled into you here lol also both my grandads were in the RAF and both their dads served in the RAF on of them was a gunman in a lancaster bomber :afro:

Also its the only part of our history i find intresting tbh :geek:

Same here mate, 1900-1960 was easily the most interesting period of history for me. I love it, and it is important to remember it.. but that was a War, this is a 8 year old football game, but as said, not as bad as '66. Also good to remember.. but the people that go on about it.. especially when England perform so poorly.. Jesus.

I assume that Lampard, Gerard, Terry, Beckham etc won't be in the next world cup? Hopefully will make way for a youthful team picked on merit/skill and team working capabilities rather than big names/perceived strongest players.

Every football team has there ups and downs they always will but i for one will always be english and proud, 'BOUNCE BACK ABILITY' is my theory.
