as above, when cornering quickly the back end likes to jump and almost make my car spin. The car is a mk2 vtr if that makes a difference. what could i do to try and stop this? thanks

its just a natural trait of the car.
Lowering the rear would help, some wider gripper tyres (R888)

for a cheap fix, could always slow down for corners ;-)

had ago of my mates the other day. still has the 316i badge on the end lol. does about 160 an 5.5 to 60. let me have a go of it on a massive roundabout in skem. spent the entire time looking out the passanger window because the back end was out.

if the back end is light and stiff then it will not ride the bumps, rather bounce over them (doesnt happen at the front as much because there is an engine pushing the wheels into the road). This can induce the back end to slide due to a loss of traction. you could try a softer setup at the back and a stiffer one at the front, this may help to make the car more supple and less skittish (for want of a better word).
Is your car stripped??

nice. I was looking at a 318ti which is 2litre isn't it. The interior was soe kinda limited edition though and was all gloss red to match the red exterior. Put me off a little tbh. Talking about the e46 shape?
