hello everyone i want to get something sorted today as its driving my nuts!!

i took my dials out to change the LED's to blue followed the how to on here.. then after putting it all back on my mph dial is not working at all it does not move! its all conected as the lights all come on and when i turn the ignition off it makes a clicking noise like its running backwards agains the motor even tho i havn't taken it out what could it be? and how do i fix it ? please help !! :wall:

the mph dial doesn;t move when u drive at all? did u replace needles in correct position? if u didn;t they start off in the wrong position. or u may have broke the dial motor as i hear its quite delicate

okkay mate thanks "/ sounds like i may have broken it then :( damn it! wil i have to get n whole new cuircut board or can i get one of the motor things ?

and how do i make sure they go back in the right position ?

well if u didn;t mark where u brought them off from, take all needles off, plug them in start car turn car off then replace the needles on zero and they should be more or less correct.
as for motor part i'm not sure at all, could also be u fried the circuit board, but i;d check easy stuff first.
have u actually driven with them plugged in?

yeah mate its plugged in and all the other lights work and i was told they all work in 3s so if the circut borad was fried the lights would go out "/ so it an be that and i tryd zeroing them but it stil wont work :(

Exactly why im geting plasmas... No needle fucking then..i hope.

I do think standard dials looks brilliant Blue but knowing me, as you have done, Ill end up with something not right and it will just piss me off. Hope you sort it bud !

thanks mate :y: i switched the motors around and it worked so it looks like i have blown one of the motors looking for the zero point so i'l need to see if i can buy a new one... anyone know if i can buy the white needle motors?


and i agree plasmas look sick but im more of i DIY man i like to see how tihngs work and sure you fuck stuff up along the way but you get to understand more then :)
