Are the pre and post cat lambda sensors the same ? thanks

I got two from the motorfactors and they were identical

Alrite cheers mate i was just thinking that they both could just record the level of oxygen and then the ecu decides whether the cat is working. Ill just see if anyone else can back you up. Thanks for helping mate
