Anybody fitted an amp and water gauge??

As title says, i have a 1litre saxo with no water temp gauge. So i have an aftermarket one to fit.
does anybody know where to put the sender on the water temp gauge and where's the best place to take the amp gauge from?

alrite bud ive got a water temp gauge on my vtr mine is screwed into the block i think it would be the same for yours i aint sure though as you say you aint got the gauge already so i dont know if it would still have some sort of sender in it but all i did it put the new sender in after i got an adaptor for it as the ones that come with it where to small lol.

Ammeter gauge connects between the alt and starter
cut wire and splice in
temp you got elec or mec type?

ah ok mate thanks, if its a potch fitting the water temp one i wont bother fitting it lol
