Advent was the very first laptop I owned. Complete and utter bullshit. Poorly made, cheap build quality and awful design. Mine was meant to be a high spec one but broke after a year. NEVER again. They are cheap for a reason.

they're cheap for a reason (don't have one, won't ever). Buy cheap, buy twice. I know someone who has one. Crashes/overheats/mistypes/takes hours to react. takes hours to power up and shut down.

this is so wierd really i have an advent and got it 4-5 years ago and its still runs really well and quick. yeah design maybe cheap but hey you get what you pay for.

Advents are cheap PC World crap, avoid them. Better off getting a quality brand like Lenovo which you know will last for years :y:
