hi

im surprising the girlfriend to a weekend away, was going to book 2 nights in york but been there before.

just wondering if anyone knows of any nice places to go for a weekend?

will take a look at places in bath now, cheers. has to be fairly cheap,as strapped for cash at moment. The hotel in york is £140 for 2 of us for 2 nights, reasonable, and is really nice. but would it be rubbish seen as though we've been before?

its not too far from you.

The grange hotel in york has Tv's in the bath real nice slot with city center parking

Torquay , North Devon, Exmoor, Dartmoor (Can rent a barn converison for the weekend iirc) , Falmouth Seafront.

I could tell it was sarcasm.... it's a smashing place.... just if someone actually took you seriously and went there.... I'd feel sorry for them lol

lakedistrict is nice. but that said it be cheaper to go to spain for a weekend than there.

cheers, will check it out now, last time we stopped in barclay lodge b&b, was decent enough. only stopped for 1 night last time though, so can have a proper look round, but will hopefully be spending most of the time in the bedroom :p lol!

any good pubs and restaurants you can recommend in york, theres so many
