View Full Version : how do i remove the throttle body?

i need to get under the throttle body cause i need to get access to the radiator pipes, plus i snapped the bracket that they attach too, anyone no where i can get a replacement or what the exact name of that part is :/ sorry for being so brief :/

I think you mean the inlet manifold if you need to get to the radiator pipes at the back of the car. Anyway take out airfilter. There are 3 torx screws (T20 iirc) You wont have to do these if your taking the whole mani off.

You will need to unplug the wiring to all the sensors attached to the tb and also remove the accelerator cable from the butterfly (spindle bit that moves allowing throttle to operate) Be gentle with the accelerator cable when removing/fitting. The inlet manifold is bolted on you will just need to remove any sensors/breather pipes etc. Citroen is the best place to go if your after a specific genuine part. Fitting it back in is reverse of what you did to take it out. Hope this helps a bit.
