boot light

hi peeps i was wondering if some one can shred some light on this as i dont know wats wrong i just notice that my boot light wont turn off when boot is shut and my alarm goes nuts when armed i took the light out and switch so i dnt knw which one as gone(if it that) but i have put the boot switch on the door switch and it does turn off the interior light so now im stubed now :wall:

would say the switch is not catching the boot properly thus not disconnecting feed so light stays on had this on a friends car battery kept going flat in the end just left boot light disconnected

i found out the problem i caught the wire from my alarm under the seat and it was earthing against the car when i cut the wire the switch worked so i just run new wire and all good now
