im havein trouble wiv my conversion ... engine is out of a 1.6 8v piccaso and gone in tom my 1.1 mk 2 ... i have the engine in with the 1.1 gearbox and vtr shafts its running well ticks over its when am driveing and i put my foot down it has no pull it seems to hessitate as if getting to much fuel .. could this be down to running a vtr ecu on this engine ? am usein vtr injectors plugs . had plugged in to machine and its comein back no faults ... some one pleasee help me cheers

Is the picasso engine physically the same as the saxo engine? If yes then the ecu won't care what vehicle the engine started it's life in.
Something to check though is the sensors that feed info to the ECU. If Picasso uses different sensors/sensor range(resistance voltage etc) then the ecu is probably not getting all info it needs to run the engine properly.
Hopefully someone with more knowledge can elaborate..........

As you say you changed the injectors this might be the problem - they may be different flow rate than VTR (I don't know for sur ethough - sorry)
