facebook app on 3GS after upgrade to 4 software

when I'm on chat on f/b since I downloaded the new i4 software
when I used to recieve chat it came up on the screen automatic and vibrated! now I have to keep pressing the name of the person and it refreshes to show the msg !
any one else use the app in chat having problems ?

There are tons of problems with the IOS4 update. If you google it you will see how many issues there are and how many people are affected. I upgraded to IOS4 a couple of weeks ago and had problems with text messaging, phone calls and no internet connection. None of my apps are working how they should be either. Apple need to bring out a fix for the software upgrade so unfortunately unless you want to restore the phone, you will probably have the same issue until Apple fixes it.

It hasn't affected everyone, just the majority.

It's the facebook application, not iOS4. Just need to wait for an app update to fix it.
