Hi people,
My renewal for quinne came through and is crap - 4 years ncb on a vtr, 21 years old and they was 900+ still.. So im going to ring around this week to a few people.

Do you haggle on the phone to get it down and how do you go about this??? i was going to ring people and tell them quinne renewal was 700 but im now looking for a uk based company - will i get away with this or will they want proof???

Need some advice thanks!!

Chris

Well im quite sure they can go lower then what they ask in some cases, however try running your details on, confused.com or gocompare, Bell is the best one by far for me admiral too same people

also on admiral or maybe bell it was around 830 (i lowered the best offer and it went down to 730 as the bare min) there was no proof needed.

I have used the compare sites and Admiral come up cheapest, I know their quotes are higher on these sites due to commission so was hopeing a phone call will help out...

I very much doubt they would ask for proof, aslong as its a reasonable price, if its not they will just say that they wont match it.

Tell them you have a slightly better quote elsewhere and maybe give a price you where hoping for.

Insuarance company: your quote is coming in it xxx.xx
You: Are you able to lower that in any way? My current insurance company is offering me just lower than that, but at the right price i would be willing to move

insurance prices have gone up this year, all quotes i had this year are MORE then last year without no NCB apart from a special few :)
