just a quick question

fitted my sportex silencer to my existing manifold and im really happy with the out come.
i was feeling around today when the like lock clip thing goes to connect the silencer to the manifold and there was the slightest little bit of air coming out.
is this bad?
will this decrease performance or any thing?

any exhaust leak is bad tbh and can cause power/performance probs... even more so at that end

you reckon its worth unclipping it and putting it in again with maybe a bigger lock clip thing then to stop any air getting out?

worth a try, should it have a gasket of some type.. is it the spring loaded bit?

did you fit a ring + exhaust paste in there?

nah its just like a half ring with a bolt on it that you can tighten up to squeeze the seal
