just a spacer between the hinge and bonnet is it not?
I would only put them on a car thats going for the 'track/fastroad' look tho.

i have to agree with this one i put raisers on my grey mk1 vts and they looked SHITE! all i ever got told was 'your bonnets open mate' so unless you want your car to look like you crashed it and have people who dont hav a clue always asking stupid questions i wouldnt bother! lol Sod The Raisers FTW :y:

lmao well atleast its not just me! used to do my brain in.. i just think that on the saxo bonnet along the sides of the bonnet once raised you cant see under the bonnet it just looks pushed up where as i had them once apon a time on my xr2i and lookd good! its more personal preferance! i took mine back off but i know other people who like them.. if your going to put them on.. i in the end got stickers that goes along the side of the bonnet saying 'Its Supposed To Be Like That' HaHa

would agree on every one else, that they do look good on mk1's, i have them on my mk1 after taking them off a mk2, although my car is goign track look now, i had them on with full interiour the lot and they still suited the car. its one of them mods that either people will hate them or love them

seeing this thread got me looking in garage and i found 4 25mm spacers and 4 bolts went out undid bonnet n put them in place and it looks ok i grabbed hold of bonnet to see if it holds well n nearly ripped my fingers off, just a thought wouldnt it be good if i put razor blades under there incase sum1 else trys pulling it off lol

i had raisers on my old mango westie, it looked ace... but all i got was people at work and family saying, "your bonnets open," or "is your bonnet broken?"
so ended up taking them off in the end.
people just havent got a clue.
or maybe we are the ones that are mislead?
... DEEP!

Gets reaarrllyyy borin, an I have to explain it every single time I go to the car wash.
One of my mates does it every single time I see him aswell haha just to piss me off

yer, i have a mate like that. hes the computer programmer at work, very sarcastic, and he was the same. every day without fail... "do you know your bonnets open?... hahaha, the car looks shit"
gets very irritating
might put them back on just for an excuse to start wailing on people with what ever heavy object is to hand.
