im wanting to block the sunroof up, now i know the proper way would be to weld in a plate and fibreglass and repaint etc but really not bothered how it looks as its for track use, would i be able to get a plate and just seal it then pop rivet it and paint it

Been wanting to do this too, Contacted streamline carbon and it was about £180 for a sheet big enough.
Have seen some previous cars with just a sheet of ally pop riveted on

quality idea mate, have you seen this done, does it fit in a recess or on top of the roof

is there just not to much work involved doing this
tailgate and front screen need removing, aswell as headlining and all the spotwelds drilled out, then the new roof skin needs spot welding into place

quality idea mate, have you seen this done, does it fit in a recess or on top of the roof
if you got a perspex sheet you would cut it to shape/size to fit in the recess
