paint that is the same colour as your car?
halfords sprays are good iv used them a few times.
u rub down with very fine sand paper or wet n dry, grey platic primer, few layers of your chosen colour(halfords do exact colour matches by make of car, so there will be a shelf with just citroen colours), leave to completely dry and use clear laquer.
if your doing your rub strips they need taken off the car a think and bumpers could be left on but mask the whole front end of your car off as over spray is a bastard.

For asthetics is it better to go for a Matt finish and one that doesnt contract too heavily against black. Unless you want a wildly bright setup smileys/smiley4.gif
