Exorcist. Fourth kind. Paranormal activity.

Approach with extreme caution.

Paranormal Activity is one of the shittest films ive ever seen in my life

Nothing happens in it! Even the "big thing" that happens at the very end of a boring and dull film isn't even that big a deal!

It begs belief how it was even a big hit

Jeepers Creepers

You have to be kidding me on? :p

Paranormal activity is just a really really long version of that video on youtube where it tells you to listen carefully then after a minute this demon jumps up n trys to scare you.

That is probably the best analogy of what Paranormal Activity actually is. There is no better way to describe it.

Yes..Rec, and Rec 2...Fucking hate them how fucked up they are.

Quarantine (the American remake) is nowhere near as scary, it doesn't capture the terror at all.

I know it's not the answer to your question but a film coming out soon called 'The Expendables' looks insane, the cast is very impressive!

The exorcist isn't scary...maybe back when it came out but not today. For a proper scary film of the same era watch The Omen, by yourself, in a big house in the middle of nowhere and stoned to the point of psychotic paranoia...fucking shit your pants scary.

Jeepers CreepersYou have to be kidding me on? :p

Jeepers creepers was laughable...imo defo not scary.

Not a film thats scary or horror, but one that makes me proper paranoid is 'The Truman Show' that film fucked me up for over a year i swear.

I proper lol'd at that...sig worthy for sure.

My fiancée’s cousin said exactly the same. He watched the film and after that some strange shit happened…scared the fuck out of him.

Brilliant film but has to be the original old skool version (the remake isn't as bad as other remakes tho).

A film that proper scared the life out of me was 'It'...saying that i was like 6 at the time lol.

This

mothman prophecies was lurrrrrky
& this

The scaryness of a horror all depends on your ability to loose yourself in a film.

IMO the key to a really scary film is a lead charachter with a solid profile, you have to a) like them enought to feel bad if they get decapitated and b) be able to completely put yourself in their situation.

If you can do this, then blair witch, stoned, at home, at night, on your own :y:

Scariest moment in that film is when they spend a day walking and end up in the same spot :wall:

Ah man, my and my brother were like 7 and 9 at the time, in a small village with no street lights. my dad let us watch whatever while he was at the pub...we were both sat in the living room with kitchen knives :panic:

Mhmm, they're good.

Anything by George A Romero (looks like the colonel) and "of the dead" e.g. Night of the living dead (two versions - original and remake), Dawn of the Dead (and the remake), Land of the dead, Day of the dead, Diary of the dead.

Also The Crazies, and it's remake.

This is of course.. If you like Zombie Films. They are scary.

I'm a massive horror buff and am yet to be scared by a film tbh. Thought the grudge was alright though. Only have to make the grudge noise and my other half gets mighty pissed off, lol! Exorcist and original amytiville are ok too. Would'nt bother with fourth kind though to be honest.
