Everyone's different, you should be enjoying your lessons and being able to drive on the roads ;)

maybe you should get them to bring back the old way..... just send off for your licence. would make life a lot easier.....
and a whole lot more dangerous. just be lucky you are in the uk and not australia. test then 50 hours of driving then another test then p plates for 2 years and then a full licence. still makes them shit at driving though

Aye, the test over here is retardedly pedantic. It irritates me that you can fail on trivial things, or 'manoeuvres', or even worse the navigation part that is imminent (I believe you need to navigate to a certain point using road signs and what not)... yes, Because that that's a test of driving you fucks.
Those money grabbing bastards really grind my gears. It should be a test of driving, day to day driving, if they want to make it harder included an advanced driving part of the test... That *might* make new drivers slightly less likely to Crash.. However it's a paradox because 'new' is synonymous with 'inexperienced'.. Which is the main reason for the crashes in your early driving career.
Morons. I should run the DVLA. My first act would be to get everyone who made the previous rules to apologise to me and to every motorist in Britain for their stupidity.
/Rant :D.

well aware, i took my test before they introduced that silly theory thing in the uk, i didnt have to go through all that shit over here though just took my paper driving licence in to the driver place got a photo taken and picked up a new licence, mototrbike and truck included aswell.
learning should be exactly that though... learning. but not learning to pass a test. learning to drive.

Most people on average have about 25-30 hours of lessons, so obviously if your lesson is 1 hour long, thats 25-30 lessons.
Have 2hour lessons if you don't already, if you want to speed up the process a bit.

get your theory out of the way as soon as possible, i did my theory within 2 weeks of starting my lessons and it sped up when i could take my test, i've had mates who have taken ages to do there theory and then took a while to do their test aswell

Just make sure you take in all that your driving instructor tells you and use that knowledge productively. It will help you in the long run. :y:

To be honest, if you rush into your test, it's more likely you'll fail.
Just keep reading the highway code so you are up to date and can answer any questions your instructor will ask. If you impress him/her, he'll probably tell you to put in for your test earlier.
