Hi peeps
Basically the black horrizontal slats on the grille of my desire are faded and not black anymore, i wanna get the black again and was thinking of spraying them black.
Just wanna know if i would need to sand it down or anythin and what spray paint i sould use? just normal plastic spray paint from halfords?
Im just a bit of a nub when it comes to paint :S haha

Oh and i just made a false floor to keep my sub in place and to cover up the grotty floor of my boot, and am wondering if i cover it in carpet how much overlap should i leave to staple it down on the other side? And is it hard to do the carpet?
Thanks in advance :)

firstly, you need to sand down everything your going to paint, then prime, wet sand the primer once dry and then paint

over lap a few inches and carpeting is easy on a flat surface

Cool thanks
I have a problem, my saxo is colour coded and the black grill bit is plastic welded to the blue surround, anyone know how to get the grill bit off the blue surround without breaking it? I dont see how i can do a good job off sanding and spraying with out scratching or painting the blue bit, which i dont wanna do

I'm pretty sure you have to dremmel it off.

If you do it well enough, you can re-attach it together I believe?

If you do it well enough, you can re-attach it together I believe?

would have to be plastic welded back on which will cause a mess

just take your time with masking tape to get it masked properly
