Peter_D

I have a Helmie accent, which is just quite normal really, nothing like Glaswegian, or Aberdeen accents 'ken fit like'?

Theres a very slight bit of Geordie in aswell, and a bit of Irish when i say words like "fire" or "tyre"

If i could choose i'd probably just take an Irish accent

Accents that i don't like are French accents....fucking hate French people

I would say I'm fairly well spoken but with a bit of Yorkshire. I would like to have a more Yorkshire accent.

I do not like Birmingham accents. Very lazy accent and makes them all sound thick. I hate the common London accent, don't mind the southern BBC accent though.

Whey, I occasionally sound like a farmer also.
Also sometimes bristolian, also due to my roots northern.

I sometimes go slightly scottish or irish when talking.
ANd often immitate peoples accents when talking to them.
I find this strange.

I quite like the scouse accent, depending on the level of scouse.
Brummie often annoys me, but thats mainly because the person is an idiot.

I like most northern accents (apart from Scottish - no offence to any Scottish people).

I can't stand the really harsh scouse accent, like loads of 'ccchhhh' sounds and people who sound like they can't be bothered to speak do my head in. Southern people are normally hard to understand too!!

I have a very broad north yorkshire accent. When I was at uni people couldn't get enough of it.... say this.... say that lol..... "what floats your boat" was a favourite! They were probably laughing at me not with me though haha.

Oh and I can't stand brummie or scouse... no offence :)

I'm told by people at uni that i have a brummy accent, but the people who pick up on it are from posh areas like stafford/burton upon trent/lichfield etc.

All you who don't like brummy accents can go suck on some scratchings/pork rind lol.

I suppose you would just say I have a southern accent, kind of a nothing accent really. :S

I love an Irish accent for girls, and dislike the more extreme versions of Scouse, Brummie, Geordie and Scottish if it's to the level that I can't even understand it.
