Mate.. It's horrible.
I've been on a coach to Spain.. not an enjoyable experience.
Kids screaming, constant noise, so hot, no room/cramped, takes a day to get to Spain at least.
It's a draining experience.. You'll wish you took the plane :p.
So yes it is cheaper but no - It's not worth it... Unless you don't value your dignity or comfort or happiness... :D.
Oh, that's not just me being a pussy - That's the reality.

Fuck taking a coach into Europe, let along domestically.
As Bound said, so many cunts on them it's ridiculous. I took a coach from Manchester to London...
NEVER again.

im just thinking about it. because i wouldnt mind a few little breaks in europe but im thinking more about following spurs in europe.
local travel agent what £341 return to bern thats a flight to zurich and a train to bern return. no hotel or nothing either ffs!
i can handle a coach for that length of time as i'd prob kip most of the way there

Yeah, it's a peasant wagon.
...Not to be elitist but there are often quite a few chavvy/common families gobbing off constantly.
You won't sleep mate..
Oh also - people being sick from travel sickness - that's a gem :D.

Problem is mate, it's not even comfortable on a coach. The seats don't recline so you can sleep properly. It's incredibly awkward. Plus the "toilet" will piss you off as it will be filthy after a few hours.
What about taking your own car?

i was thinking about driving to the games, but the amount id be spending in petrol, it'll be more worth me just flying or not bothering!
plus i dont fancy driving a saxo into europe... probably break down as soon as i get off the ferry
