My Dad has had a Vaux Cavalier from new and I can list all the things that have gone wrong with it



CV Joints

Power Steering motor thing (cant remember its official name)

Exhaust

Shock absorbers

Leccy Window went funny for a week in the past month

Tyres replaced a few times

Handbrake cable snapped

Hasnt needed to replace clutch yet on a 110,000 mile car

And other general air filters e.t.c



Now that is not bad for a 11 year old car

Some more proof that I am a Vauxhall Owner (and Vaux fan 2bh)



I currently drive a Vauxhall Astra MK3 1.4 MPI, the engine is a c14se and is a multi point injection .



Arguably one of Vauxhalls best engines is the c20xe (ones used in Astra GSI's and Cav GSI's) but I also love the c20let (turbo version). Cav GSI 4X4 system is shite and is more fragile then a pair of twiglets in a rain storm.
