to put it in simplier terms say i have 10 LED lights that are 12v each, i bridge all 10 LED lights together useing there power cable, now what size power cable will i need to connect to the LED power cable to the battery lol
Or
what size amp cable would be safe to run 10+ 12v applications lol

LEDs are very low voltage so dont see why would need thick cable,
I got LEDs on my car, 2x30cm strips with 20leds in each they use wire similar to speaker wire

yeh i just used LEDs as an example but most things run on 12v anyways so just need to know if i combined all these applications together to run off 1 power cable then what kind of size amp wire will i need because if i used the really really thin wire with like 3 copper threads worth inside it then it would just burn up with the power output it cant keep up with

My mate used 240v house hold wire, like what u get on lamps etc its only got 2 cores but loads of strands so can hold the amps.
All to do with ohms law

Use speaker wire 20ish AWG will be fine they work at 5 volts so never draw much power, make sure you put a fuse in there to stop the wire/LEDs burning out :y:
