hi guys i decided to have a go at rendering a 3d model using different textures, this is the first time i have attempted this so what do you guy think

about an hour mate, its relatively simple, hardest part is just finding decent textures.

all you do is paste the textures on a new layer over the top of the model in the various places and change the layer property to overlay, that way it still apears 3d

yup i had no idea how to do it then the other day i saw an artcile about it in a magazine and it was so much easier than i first thought. so had a crack and hey presto ....

Nice work there mate, I've never tried anything like that before myself, I mainly make sigs for people on various forums, but I may just mess around in PS sometime and see what I come up with! smileys/smiley4.gif
