Disconnect the airbox
Unplug all the sensors from tb
Unclip the throttle cable
Unbolt the tb

No
It's not hard to do, take a few pictures of your tb before you take it off so you know where things go back.
It's easy to do with a simple tool kit

well i unbolted the 3 bolts on the tb and i tried to lift it off, but it didnt budge.. any ideas what ive done wrong :( x

i can see u got a saxo vts - so have i and mines a 2000 plate so hoppe this helps
remove the air box completely inc the pipe
three torx key bolts - undo and remove these
there are 4 sensors connected - 2 at the rear. 1 at the front and a grey plug type underneath
now do ont pull it but jiggle it off and it will work free
now pull it forward and then disconnect the throttle cable
