n/s front headlamp insecure New headlight or secure your headlight
off side rear position lamp not working Bulb gone?
n/s rear reg lamp not working Bulb gone on your registration plate light?
windscreen washer provides no water Put some water in your windscreen washers, if you have, clear the pipes.
off side front suspension has excessive play in lower suspension ball joint I got this as well on my last MOT but it passed?

exhaust emmisions carbon monoide content at idle excessive Catalytic converter needed? or if you already have one, a new one

exhaust emmisions carbon monoide content after 2nd fast idle excessive Same as above

exhaust emissions lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits Could be lambda sensor?

dont think the K&N would make a difference. do u have a aftermarket exhaust on it? miby try a fuel injection cleaner init and thrash it might help did with mine.

I'd imagine the emissions are related to a nakered lambda. Didn't the garage tell you what needed doing?

got told this is to do with my miss in the engine. i have a slight missin on it and at 2300rpm wen tested for emissions it will miss, and over the miss it will raise the emission level.

the garage told me to put it on a diagnostic test to find the fault, he reckons there is a sensor down and readinf faulty makeing the fuel and air mix wrong, hence the emissions fail..
