Right,

I want to know what people prefer...

I love laptops, because you can go almost anywhere with it, but I just think a PC is much more reliable, easy and less hassle..

I hate touchpads on laptops... :wall:

I have 2 mac's and an iMac. Prefer the macs for ease of opening the screen and go wherever in the house.

Prefer to sit on the iMac though if i'm going to be doing prolonged browsing/work

I don't mind touch pads. I like laptops for being on the internet in front of the TV. But for gaming and PC editing I have to be on my PC.

You realise you can just get an external USB mouse yeah? Laptops ftw.

I just shat myself thinking there was a spider on my arm whilst writing this. Turns out its one of the rubber 'feet' off my laptops underside thats stuck to me forearm. Heart attack over.

It's not because of the spec, you can get some huge spec laptops. I just dont like gaming on a laptop keyboard.

Yeah, but I meant like the laptop itself, like they were made with a touch pad, which are all shite.

Aww, bless :homme: ;)

i agree, i hate using a laptop to do gaming on there just to cramp for my liking, were as a desktop jus seems alot easier imo

Theirs alot of good spec laptops though on the market just as good as desktops :)

I brought a a good laptop through last year, still keeps up with one of you're up to date desktops

I have a MacBook. I also hated using the touchpads on laptops before I got it but the trackpad on the new MacBook is really good. I find it much easier to use than a mouse now. I also like the convenience of being able to flip it open and go wherever I want with it. :y:

pc.. and if you want to use it in bet hook it up to the TV and get a wireless Kb/ Mouse.. Job done.. Laptops are ok, Im using one at the min but i will be going back to the dark side shortly..... and a pc is much easier/cheaper to upgrade / repair.

Well all 3 are good for differant things obviously..

I would recommend getting a desktop if you want kinda an in between.

depending on budget you could get an ok desktop for circa £400 (for the tower)

and then buy a very cheap portable netbook / notebook for around £240.

So you would have the best of both worlds for approx £600
